HAWKAPPELLA

Hawkappella was created in the fall of 2019 in an effort to combine the previous a cappella groups (X-Chromotones, Crown Joules, and Techtonics). This group remains IIT A Cappella's main large group, inclusive to all, regardless of gender, race, or religion, and provides an avenue for students to express their vocal or vocal-percussive talent in creative ways. This includes singing as a large group as well as performing solos, duets, singing in small groups, and hosting open mic nights. They cover a wide variety of music and styles and are always open to the new ideas of their members.
